Happy 30th Birthday to the Class of 1998

What: Celebrating our 30th birthdays!

Come on out and celebrate or commiserate our 30th birthdays. Most of us have turned 30 (last year) or are turning 30 this year.

It's free to attend and we will be collecting donations for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in memory of our classmate, Brian Acompora. Free appetizers will be provided as well as cupcakes. Purchase your own drinks, there will be drink specials especially for our event.

The Wine Room serves wine, beer, champagne, soda, flavored teas and sparkling cider. They have many wines you can purchase using their smart card system.

We hope to see you all there! Please share with your friends in our class or other classes. This is an open event and anyone is welcome to attend. Please do RSVP using the facebook event so we know how much food to order and many cupcakes to provide. If you don't have a facebook account, please email us at wphs1998 at gmail dot com to let us know you'll be attending.

We're conducting a survey to see if there is an interest in having a mini reunion as sort of a party to celebrate or commiserate (however you want to look at it) our 30th birthdays (since most of us are turning 30 this year and next).

Buy a Brick and support WPHS

As you may know, the original WPHS campus, currently the 9th grade campus, is undergoing a total renovation this coming year. New buildings are being constructed and older historic buildings are being renovated, with an effort to maintain the character of the campus where so many WPHS graduates have studied. As part of this renovation, there will be a beautifully landscaped brick walkway between the auditorium and administration buildings commemorating alumni and friends of Winter Park.

The WPHS Foundation is coordinating the brick sale for the Wildcat Walk of Fame, and proceeds from this sale will be used to support the ongoing tradition of excellence at WPHS. These bricks are available for $50 each, and can be inscribed with a message of up to 39 characters. To buy a brick, fill out this form and mail in with your check.

Buy a brick for yourself, your classmate, your favorite teacher, to honor a loved one, commemorate a class reunion, or support a current student!

The WPHS Football program is one of great tradition and success. On May 15th, we will be celebrating the success of generations past and the legacy that the current Wildcats must embrace.
